Kandi Go Kart is a friendly and fun race series for everyone! Some places, people are creating an environment where individuals or small teams can compete with each other to create a sustainable automobile consumer culture. This is why it is named as “Kandi”, after all, sharing is caring! By using alternative energy vehicles like electric cars, solar motorcycles and go karts, Kandi gives people a chance to experience freedom from fossil fuels and address environmental issues head on.
By racing at different venues including both public streets as well as closed course facilities (to be determined), people of all skill levels will be able to race their eco-friendly vehicle(s). There are no expensive entry fees for competitors (aside for the basic registration fee to join Kandi), and no need to worry about where, how or when to get parts or service.
The road races will be run using a Handicap start system, this means that all drivers have equal race time and chances of winning after they cross the Start/Finish Line at the beginning of every race. Now it’s your skill against other racers!
Kandi Go Kart Parts
They are completely different karts. Go Karts have 4-stroke Honda GX engines and larger diameter wheels and tires which allow for faster speeds, while Kandi Karts have 2-stroke engines and smaller wheels/tires to comply with local laws on power output.
Kandi has a factory that produces parts like chassis, wheels / hubs, crankshafts etc . and you can request for them to build your kart. You can also have them built exclusively for you and shipped directly to your home.
In the US, Kandi has been selling karts that have a 2-stroke engine of 250 cc and top speed is around 20mph.
As for Europe, UK and Australia , Kandi is selling with 3 options: electric (for the parking lot), kid ride (2-stroke engine of 250cc) and adult ride (4-stroke engine of 450cc). The gas versions in those markets also have larger wheels than the ones sold in USA . The reason why we only see kart parts here is because Kandi is pushing it as a complete package, from kart to battery to charger etc. So you can literally go home and assemble it yourself if you want to—purchasing only what you need.
Perhaps there are people in USA who want to do the same thing.
With gas version, only 2-stroke engine is available . We don’t think they offer 4-stroke version since it’s illegal and can bring big trouble for them. Both electric and gas versions come with roll cage system (crash tested), 1 year parts warranty. Electric versions include battery and charger too, while gas version does not include any of those items. Assembled kart weighs 300 lbs or more depending on options chosen by customer including lithium battery pack if needed. They also sell various spare parts, but most of them are NOT importable into US due to DOT regulations—only few minor things are excepted from that rule such as screws and bolts.

The manufacturer uses authentic Kandi parts in our upgraded lithium ion batteries and wheels for Kandi go kart models: black, blue, green, pink and red. The new battery packs have a high capacity 40wh (2100mah) cells that can run 5 to 15 miles per single charge depending on terrain & rider weight.
These kart tires are improved with high quality insulators, solid rubber tread and solid wheels. The wheel rims have a larger surface area to prevent cracking in cold weather.
The upgraded kart motors are digitally controlled to enhance performance.
